Google detects app that can steal your photos and Facebook, WhatsApp data

Google has distinguished an application 'Tizi', which has been taking data from call records and furthermore from online networking applications like Facebook, WhatsApp, and furthermore take pictures from cell phones without showing them on the screen of the gadget.

"Tizi is a completely highlighted indirect access that introduces spyware to take delicate information from mainstream web-based social networking applications.

The Google Play Protect security group found this family in September 2017 when gadget filters found an application with establishing abilities that misused old vulnerabilities," a post on Google security blog said.

The organization has expelled the application from Play Store, informed all known influenced gadgets and suspended the record of the application engineer, the post dated November 27 said.

The post said that before variation of Tizi did not have establishing abilities but rather it grew later on and from that point began taking touchy data from gadgets.

"The establishing capacities give an application full control of the gadget. It can sidestep all limitation posted on it by the Android security framework. An application with establishing resembles a client utilizing the gadget.
