Tata Motors ties up with Jayem Auto to launch electric car Neo
The Tata
Nano is destined to be propelled in an electric symbol wearing another mark
Neo. Some observe this is as the main move towards eliminating the brand Nano,
which has neglected to energize the Indian auto purchaser almost 10 years after
its dispatch.
Concerning
the new symbol of the Nano, Tata Motors, its originator,
has little part to play in it. Goodbye Motors will supply the body shells of
the Nano and Coimbatore-based Jayem Automotives will include the powertrain and
electric engine for the Neo.
Sources
said the initial 400 Neos were being made for a main taxi aggregator and would
be given over to the organization in a matter of seconds.
Goodbye
Motors and Jayem Automotives had in March framed a 50:50 joint wander, JT
Special Vehicles, for creating unique execution vehicles.
The
48-volt Neo will be collected and showcased by Jayem Automotives and is
intended to run 150 km with aerating and cooling on a solitary full charge.
