IndiGo's troubled times: Doha-bound flight hits bird, returns to Chennai

A Doha-bound IndiGo flight conveying 134 travelers was compelled to come back to the Anna International Airport here toward the beginning of today, following a flying creature strike not long after take-off.

"IndiGo Flight 6E-1707 from Chennai to Doha had a fledgling hit, as the air ship was moving after take-off. Because of preparatory reasons, pilot chose to restore the flying machine to Chennai for an assessment," IndiGo said in an announcement.

Amid the procedure, the team educated all travelers about the airplane coming back to Chennai because of the fowl strike, the aircraft stated, including "at no time, wellbeing of the travelers was traded off".

IndiGo masterminded a substitute air ship to stay away from burden to the travelers, the announcement included.

The flight continued its voyage to Doha following a two-hour delay, an airplane terminal authority said.
