Padmavati row: BJP leader offers Rs 10 cr for Deepika, Bhansali head
Haryana's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief Media Coordinator Suraj Pal Amu on Sunday passed
disparaging comments against 'Padmavati' producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali,
performing artist Deepika Padukone and on-screen character Ranveer Singh.
Amu undermined on-screen
character Ranveer Singh, who is playing Delhi Sultanate ruler Alauddin Khilji
in the film, for supporting Bhansali.
"In the event that you
(Ranveer Singh) don't reclaim your words, we will break your legs [Agar tune
apne shabd wapas nahin liye, toh teri taango ko todkar tere haathon mein de
dengey)," he stated, including slurs against the performer.
He likewise commended the Meerut
youth for declaring Rs 5 crore abundance for executing Deepika and Bhansali.
"I need to salute the Meerut
youth for declaring Rs 5 crore abundance for decapitating Deepika, and
Bhansali. We will compensate the ones executing them, with Rs 10 crore, and
furthermore deal with their family's needs," he included.
