Record 87.9 million mobile phones shipped to India in Oct-Dec: CMR

Indian market saw a record cell phone shipment of 87.9 million units in October-December 2017, says a CyberMedia Research report.
"Versatile handset sellers delivered 88 million portable handset units in the final quarter of 2017. For the whole year, versatile handset merchants have sent around 287 million portable handset units in India," the CMR report said.
The appraisals by the examination firm demonstrate that Samsung remained the general pioneer for 2017 with 21 for each penny piece of the pie, trailed by iTel and Xiaomi with 9 for every penny piece of the pie each.
Amid the quarter, Reliance Jio LYF finished in the element telephone portion with 27 for each penny share.
It was trailed by Samsung with 14 for each penny share, Micromax 9 for every penny, iTel 8 for each penny and Lava 6 for each penny share.
Xiaomi drove the cell phone portion with 25 for each penny share. It was trailed by Samsung with 21 for every penny share, Lenovo 9 for every penny, Vivo and Oppo 6 for each penny each.
In the excellent section, evaluated between Rs 26,000 to Rs 50,000 a unit, Apple drove showcase with 48 for each penny share, trailed by OnePlus with 23 for every penny and Samsung with 10 for every penny share, according to the report.
In the super premium classification, valued above Rs 50,000 a unit, Apple collected 73 for each penny piece of the overall industry, Samsung 20 for every penny and Google around 7 for each penny share.
